Myrtle Street Gallery, Liverpool
Art School. The objects were fenced off by a rope which surrounded
the arrangement. This permitted the visitors to observe the installation
from two sides only, and blocked any further approach. The maximum
viewing angle towards the screen was from the far right hand side
corner, so that it was only just impossible to see what was going
on there. The porn movie which was playing could be recognized only
by the sound.
Everything necessary for a cosy video session was supplied: drinks
(watering can), snacks (fertilizer sticks) and two remote controls.
On the wall hang a type of family picture frame with different plant
portraits and in the corner stood a filthy little table lamp as the
only source of light.
