The artist Sandra Schmidt and I spent a total of 36 hours in the shop of the Onomato gallery in Duesseldorf.
After staying over night, at seven o'clock in the morning a ringing alarm clock marked the beginning of the performance. From this time on, one computer keyboard was available to each of us to document our current thoughts as precisely as possible. There were no spoken word exchanged between us. The texts we produced could not be read by ourselves and therefore once typed, we were unable to correct our input.
The monitors on which the texts appeared stood directly behind the display windows and were only observable from the outside. A software written for the performance caused the current time to appear on the monitor every three minutes. Passers-by had - in contrast to us - the opportunity to compare what we were writing simultaneously.
The performance was finished 24 hours after the ring of the alarm clock.

During the 24 hours more than 70 pages of text were written. The following is an excerpt from this production (left column: Sandra Schmidt, right column: Jörg Jozwiak). This translation attempts to reflect the spelling and grammar mistakes, unconnected phrases, etc. from the German originals as literal as possible.
